Team Rossum at Coupa Inspire 2025: Feel the Magic

You can always tell how successful an event was by how long the team WhatsApp threads stay active. Coupa Inspire 2025? Let’s just say, we’re still riding the high.

As we wrap up another incredible showing at one of the year’s biggest and most anticipated spend management events, a quick thank you to everyone who helped make it a success, onstage, behind the scenes, or dropping by to say hello.

This marks our second year in a row at Coupa Inspire (shoutout to Vegas and Vienna in 2024), and once again, we were wowed by the energy, momentum, and sense of purpose this community brings. It’s inspiring to see not only how far the tech has come, but how much more strategic the conversations have become.

In this blog, I’ll take you through the journey, from the planning to the packed demo sessions, the executive dinner, and yes, the behind-the-scenes scramble when all our merch got stuck in customs. Consider this a look inside what made this our biggest and best Inspire yet, powered by #OneTeam at Rossum.

Planning for impact: Not just another booth in the crowd

From the start, our goal for Inspire wasn’t merely to show up, it was to show up with purpose and execute with excellence. Months ahead of the event, we mapped our strategy around one thing: making enterprise document automation real for accounts payable and procurement leaders. We worked cross-functionally with sales, partners, customer success, and our executive team to ensure every moment and touchpoint, whether at the booth, on stage, at the happy hour party or over dinner, had a clear role to play in advancing conversations that matter.

And it’s not only about leads or MQLs or whatnot, we wanted to also build genuine relationships and connections with the community. And let me tell you, the amount of love and excitement we witnessed was truly humbling: “Oh you’re Rossum! Everyone is talking about you guys!”

It wasn’t about handing out a flyer and calling it a day. We wanted to lay out the blueprint for the future of automated paperwork processing.

Kicking off with a full house (and a full glass)

Our first big moment came before the expo hall even opened. We cohosted an electric happy hour with our partners at CrossCountry Consulting and ProsperOps – packed wall to wall with energy, old friends, new faces, and conversations that moved far beyond buzzwords.

It was the perfect scene-setter: relaxed, smart, and the kind of gathering where business cards turned into real momentum. Everybody dance NOW!

We also brought some cool swag: Rossum sunglasses, LED foam fingers, and the now-famous beach balls that made it to more parties than we did. It was fun, yes, but with a purpose: to create moments people remembered, and a brand experience that matched the intelligence of our product.

Breaking bread with the people shaping finance and procurement automation

The next night, we went from bar tops to white tablecloths with our invite-only executive dinner hosted by our CEO at Jean Georges Steakhouse. The room brought together industry leaders, customers, partners, and friends of Rossum for an evening of unfiltered discussion, stories, and steak. No sales pitch. Sharp minds talking shop. A rare moment of stillness in an otherwise nonstop week.

When the curtain lifted: Our live demo & breakout session with Imperial Dade

We had two big spots on the Inspire agenda, and we weren’t going to let them pass quietly.

First, was our live demo session with Lena Rampula on the community stage that attracted over 150 people gathered to see how Rossum’s specialist AI agents are automating AP workflows end to end. No slides, no fluff. Our product, solving real problems in real time.

Then came our breakout session with Imperial Dade, titled “How Imperial Dade Transformed Their AP Process with AI-Powered Automation” The turnout was fantastic, and the response even better. Our joint story with Imperial Dade of scaling automation across a complex accounts payable workflow sparked genuine curiosity from leaders who’ve been promised “automation” before but hadn’t yet seen what it looks like when it works.

The results-oriented discussion led to several follow-up chats at the booth later that day.

Viva Las Automation: Our booth was a-buzzing

Between sessions, the booth was alive. Our AI agent-themed coffee cart turned heads and not because of the caffeine hit. We launched the Viva Las Automation Challenge, where attendees rolled the dice to win prizes (congrats to Kim for hitting 777 and walking away with our champion title). The idea was simple, take a snap with our coffee cup for a chance to win.

Kim Gantt from Maximus is definitely on #TeamRossum.

The buzz around the booth was exactly what we hoped for: engaged conversations, impromptu product demos, and curious leaders looking for more than surface-level solutions.

And in the theme of specialist AI agents, we gave away a few Star Wars-themed LEGO sets that were a huge hit, with two winners selected (yes, we had a virtual spinning wheel).

Real conversations, real interest

But beyond the activations, it was the meetings that defined our time at Inspire. Across three days, we spoke to hundreds of AP, procurement, and finance leaders. Some were new to Rossum, some were prospects, and a few were customers already thinking bigger, asking how they could expand AI agents into more of their workflows.

Each meeting was different, but a theme emerged: leaders aren’t only interested in AI anymore. They’re under pressure to use it wisely and at scale. That’s exactly where Rossum delivers.

One word for the road

To the Coupa team: thank you. It’s not easy orchestrating an event of this scale, and it showed – every detail felt tight, smooth, and attendee-first. From the community vibe to the strong content sessions, it was clear this wasn’t only a vendor event, it was a moment for the industry.

And to everyone who stopped by, joined a session, or clinked a glass with us: we’re grateful. Your energy, ideas, and questions are why we do this.

We’re not done yet. You can catch us next at the Coupa Inspire World Tour in Frankfurt on June 3 and London on June 17, two more chances to see what real AP and P2P automation looks like, up close.

We’re already gearing up for next year in Vegas. Until then, stay bold, stay curious, and stay automated.
